Following a 20 year career in healthcare, I was given the opportunity to take voluntary redundancy. I had wanted a change in career for a number of years but he responsibilities of family life and the financial pressures associated with raising a young family, made this difficult.

I completed an Accredited City & Guilds and NCFE locksmith course with a view to having an additional skill to carry out work on top of further training in another field, but I enjoyed the locksmith course so much that I have become a fulltime locksmith.
